Visit the DNC 2027 archiveThe fifth Dresden Nexus Conference brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from over 75 countries. DNC2025 introduced the Business Meets Science strand and ran alongside the Dresden International Forum.
The biodiversity edition, held online around the International Day for Biological Diversity. Its lasting outcome is the DNC2022 Signatory Document.
The pandemic pivoted DNC2020 to a fully self-paced virtual format. The first DNC Declaration on the Resource Nexus was signed during the conference and the PRISMA Award was launched. All material remains freely available.
DNC2017 brought 400+ international experts to Dresden to frame the Nexus Approach against the just-launched Sustainable Development Goals. Strong UN representation and the State-of-the-Nexus 2017 report.
The first Dresden Nexus Conference established the Water–Soil–Waste framing. Output: four policy briefs, four working papers and the State-of-the-Nexus 2015 report.
